Years of CANE’S® Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”).
SWEEPSTAKES ENTRY
PERIOD: The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 AM
Eastern Time (“ET”) on 8/4/2021 and ends at 11:59:59 PM ET on 8/28/2021 (the
“Sweepstakes Period”).
Who May Enter: Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the fifty (50)
United States and District of Columbia who are age 18 or older as of date of
entry, and have a valid U.S. driver’s license or government issued photo
identification (“Entrant”), excluding the following classes of persons who are
not eligible to enter:
a.
Employees,
officers, and directors of Raising Cane’s Restaurants, LLC, (“Sponsor”),
Million Dollar Media (“Administrator”), each of their respective franchisees,
affiliated companies, subsidiaries, distributors, retailers, printers, advertising and promotion agencies, and any and all other
companies associated with the design or execution of this Sweepstakes
(collectively “Released Parties), and the members of the immediate families or
households of any of the above, whether or not related. “Immediate family
members” includes, for purposes of this Sweepstakes, parents (including
in-laws), grandparents, siblings (including step-siblings), children (including
step-children), grand children (including step grandchildren) and each of their
respective spouses.
b.
Individuals
who do not have current access to the internet or a valid email address to
complete an eligible on-line registration.
SWEEPSTAKES
ENTRY PERIODS: The Sweepstakes consists of twenty-five (25) separate and
individual Daily Entry Periods (each a "Daily Entry Period" and
collectively the "Daily Entry Periods") and
twenty-five (25) random drawings (each,
a “Drawing”) as defined in the “Daily Entry Period” below. Entries must be
received during a Daily Entry Period indicated in the chart below to be
eligible for that Daily Entry Period’s drawing and prize. Non-winning
entries WILL NOT roll over to subsequent Daily Entry Periods. Incorrect
and incomplete entries are void. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void where
prohibited. Administrator's clock is the
official time keeping device of the Sweepstakes.

How to Enter – Online Entry: During the Sweepstakes
Period, visit www.25YearsOfCanes.com and follow the online instructions to submit an entry for the corresponding
Daily Entry Period (the “Entry”). Limit one (1) Entry per person for
each Daily Entry Period. Maximum of twenty-five (25) Entries per person for the
duration of the Sweepstakes Period. First time visitors must connect to the Sweepstakes registration page and follow
the online instructions to complete the online
registration form with all required information including your first and last name,
address, city, state, zip code, and valid email address. After reading and agreeing to these Official
Rules, click the “submit” button to complete your registration. Maximum of one
registration per person and per valid email address during the entire
Sweepstakes Period. Registering more than one time during the entire Sweepstakes Period (by using the same or alternate names or email addresses) will
invalidate all Entries submitted by that person. Entrants
may return to submit an Entry in a new Daily Entry Periods by logging in on the
log-in screen with their email address that was used during their Sweepstakes
registration.
By participating and submitting an Entry,
Entrant agrees that Sponsor and Administrator are authorized to contact Entrant via email,
mail, phone or any other form of media to make Entrant
aware of information pertinent to the Sweepstakes, and to distribute
information regarding the Sponsor(s) featured products, special events or
promotional offers, or purchase incentives. Entrants may opt-out of any further
email communication at any time by replying REMOVE to any email message, or
following the provided opt-out instructions.
Released Parties are not responsible for lost,
late, misdirected, illegible, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible or damaged Entries,
or for Entries submitted in a manner that is not expressly allowed under these
Official Rules, or for any Entry not submitted or
received or lost due to any technical error or failure, human or programming
error, unauthorized human intervention, inaccurate capture or mis-entry of any
required information, or the failure to capture any such information or effects
of hackers or failure of any electronic equipment, computer transmissions
and/or network connections; all of which will be disqualified.
Each Entrant must submit an Entry
on his/her own behalf. Any Entry submitted on behalf of another individual or
using another person’s email address or name will be disqualified and
ineligible to claim any prize. No mechanically reproduced or automated entries
permitted. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will
result in disqualification and all such Entries will be deemed void. In the
event of a dispute as to any on-line registration, the authorized account
holder of the e-mail address used to register will be deemed to be the
registrant and he/she must be eligible according to these Official Rules. The
“authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned an e-mail address by
an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization
responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the
submitted address. All Entries received become the property of the Sponsor and
will not be returned.
Sponsor
reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual (and
all of his or her Entries) who tampers or attempts to tamper with or abuse the
entry process or the Sweepstakes website in any way or who is otherwise in
violation of these Official Rules, as determined by Sponsor or the Sweepstakes judges
appointed by Sponsor in their sole discretion. Any questions regarding the
number of entries submitted or the authorized account holder shall be
determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON TO
DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY SWEEPSTAKES WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE
OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND
SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE
RIGHT TO DISQUALIFY AND SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT
PERMITTED BY LAW.
Winner
Selection & Notification: Following the close of the Sweepstakes
Period, Administrator shall conduct individual Drawings from among all eligible
Entries received during each Daily Entry Period to select the designated number
of potential winners (each a “Potential Winner”) for the each
corresponding Daily Entry Period, subject to verification of eligibility and
compliance with these Official Rules. If less than then number of required eligible Entries
are received for a designated Daily Entry Period, then some or all prizes for
the corresponding Daily Entry Period will not be awarded.
Each Potential Winner will be notified
initially by email or phone beginning on or about 8/30/2021. If any Potential Winner fails to respond or if the
Administrator is unsuccessful in its attempt to reach and speak directly with a
Potential Winner within 2-days of the initial notification attempt to the email
address or phone number associated with that Entrant’s Entry, then that Entrant
may be disqualified for that Drawing and an alternate Potential Winner may be
selected from among the remaining eligible Entries received during the
corresponding Daily Entry Period, and notified as per the procedures outlined
above (time permitting). Note: phone messages will not be left
during the prize winner notification process.
During each Potential Winner notification, the
selected Potential Winner must confirm their eligibility, and indicate their
willingness and ability to accept the designated prize corresponding to the Drawing(s)
they were selected from. The Potential Winner will then receive official
notification via mail or email delivery.
If the selected Potential Winner does not meet
the eligibility requirements or fails
to return the required winner documentation by the designated deadline, or
elects to decline the prize, s/he will be disqualified and, at Sponsor’s
discretion and time permitting, an alternate Potential Winner will be selected
from among all remaining eligible entries and notified as per the procedures
outlined above (time permitting). Any
disqualified Entrants will not receive any alternate prize substitution or
compensation. Decisions of the
Administrator in the selection and determination of all prize winners and all
matters relating to this Sweepstakes are final and binding.
All of the following will apply to each prize
winner: 1) Winner will be required to complete and return, within 5-days of
date of receipt and in a manner as instructed by the
Administrator (i.e. via online submission), an affidavit of
eligibility and a liability/publicity release signed by the winner (and grand
prize winner’s travel guest), publicity release where permitted; 2)
Winner may be required to present a copy of a valid social security card and a
valid driver’s license as a condition of participating or receiving any prize; 3)
Winner will be issued an IRS Form 1099 reflecting the actual value of all
prizes won (if prize is valued at $600.00 or higher); and 4) Winner will be
responsible for paying all applicable taxes (including, but not limited to all
local, state and federal taxes) on all prizes awarded. Failure to collect or
properly claim any prize in accordance with these Official Rules will result in
forfeiture of the prize. If forfeited for any reason, finalist will not receive
any other prize substitution or compensation, and the prize will remain the
property of Sponsor and will not be awarded, except as provided herein.

Each Prize Code expires on December 31, 2021. Released Parties (defined above)
are not responsible for expired Prize Codes or for problems arising out of
attempting to utilize a Prize Code. Prize Codes cannot be replaced if lost or
stolen. Prize Codes have no cash value, except as required by law. Prize Codes
cannot be combined with any other offer or discount. One time use only. Prize

and confirmed as the prize winners for Daily Entry Period 21 shall be eligible
to receive “Free CANE’S for a Year,” which will be awarded to each prize winner
in the form of a Raising Cane’s® Gift Card (the “Gift Card”),
good for up to fifty-two (52) free Raising Cane’s® THE BOX COMBO®
meals over the calendar year following activation
of the Gift Card subject to the terms, conditions and limitations
herein. Upon activation, the Gift Card may be used at any participating Raising
Cane’s® restaurant. The Gift Card may only be used once per calendar week and is limited to one
(1) meal per use. Further, the maximum value per use is for one (1) THE BOX
COMBO® meal including tax. The Gift Card will be automatically loaded with one
(1) The Box Combo® meal each Monday at 6:30 a.m. CST and, if not used during
the following week, will expire at 6:29 a.m. CST on the following Monday. Any
meal not redeemed by the end of the scheduled calendar week will be forfeited,
and the unused meal will never be awarded. The Approximate Retail Value (ARV)
of each Gift Card is up to $432.12. Any difference between the stated ARV and
the actual value of a prize will not be awarded.

Prize
#25 (Daily Entry Period 25 – Maximum 1 winner): The Entrant selected
and confirmed as the prize winners for Daily Entry Period 25 shall be eligible
to receive following Trip Prize with a MRV of $4,100:
•
Trip for winner and one (1) guest to O'ahu, HI,
including:
o Round
trip coach class airfare for two (winner
and one guest age 18 or older) from the nearest major airport to the
winner’s home as designated by Administrator to the Administrator designated
airport servicing the O'ahu, HI metro
area. Actual departure date, times, airline and
airports based upon availability and shall be solely determined by
Administrator.
o
Five
(5) days/four (4)-nights standard hotel accommodations, one room double
occupancy at a hotel in the O'ahu, HI metro area as solely designated by Administrator;
o
One
(1) non-reloadable prepaid gift card in the amount of $1,000.00 that may be
used wherever the gift card is accepted for payment towards activities,
entertainment, or any expenses of winner’s choice. Gift card will be subject to
terms and conditions of the issuing bank or gift card company. Administrator
reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to award multiple gift cards in
varying denominations to satisfy the total amount to be awarded.

Additional Conditions for Trip Prizes
The following conditions apply to the use of a Trip
Prize:
•
Travel
arrangements must be booked through Administrator.
•
Departure
date and accommodations are subject to availability and certain blackout dates
apply.
•
Winner
and guest must travel together on the same itinerary.
•
If
Winner has not reached the age of majority in his/her state of residence (18 in
all states except 19 in AL and NE, and 21 in MS), then Winner’s guest must be
Winner’s parent or legal guardian.
•
If
Winner’s guest is a minor, then Winner must be the parent or legal guardian of
such guest.
•
Released
Parties are not responsible for any travel delays or difficulty. If travel
delays or difficulty prevent arrival in time for any or all elements of the
trip, Sponsor is not responsible for awarding any compensation in lieu thereof.
•
Any
Winner requested changes to completed travel arrangements, once booked, are the
sole responsibility of the Winner, and are solely at the Winner’s expense.
•
Actual
value of the trip will depend upon the tickets for the Sponsor designated
event, activity or entertainment.
•
If
air travel is not required due to Winner’s proximity to prize location as determined
by Administrator, ground transportation may be substituted for round trip air
travel at Administrator’s sole discretion.
•
Trip
and trip components may not be sold, traded, transferred, separated,
rescheduled to dates not within the Fulfillment Period, or refunded.
•
Trip
or any trip components are not redeemable for cash.
•
Winner
and guest are solely responsible for all costs and expenses of the prize not
specified as included in these Official Rules, including but not limited to
meals, tips, gratuities, hotel fees, checked baggage fees, souvenirs, ground
transportation, laundry service, local and long-distance telephone calls,
medical expenses, and other personal expenses.
•
Released
Parties not responsible for late, lost, damaged or stolen luggage.
•
Winner
and guest are solely responsible for obtaining (and traveling with) valid
identification and any other required documents (e.g., Photo ID, Credit Card).
•
Winner
will be required to provide a credit card at the time of hotel check-in, and
hotel will place a temporary ‘hold’ on credit card to cover any incidental
charges by winner and/or winner’s guest. Temporary hold dollar amount on credit
card is subject to hotel policy.
•
If
Winner elects to take prize trip without a guest, components of the p Trip
Prize will be awarded in increments/quantities suitable for one traveler and
Winner will not receive any compensation or substitute/alternate prize for same.
•
Winner
agrees to maintain his or her behavior and the behavior of its guest in
accordance with all applicable laws, generally accepted social practices, and
adhere to all rules and regulations applicable to any airline, hotel, venue or other entity connected to participation in any Trip
Prize activity, including, without limitation, use of a Trip Prize component.
Winner understands and agrees that if Winner or his/her guest is removed from
any activity at any time, or if the Winner’s or his/her guest’s behavior at any
point is disruptive, causes damage or could cause damage to person, property or
otherwise violates the policies of an entity associated with the Trip Prize,
then Winner may be required to forfeit the remainder of the Trip Prize without
substitution or compensation.
All federal, state and
local taxes are each winner’s sole responsibility. All prize awards are
non-transferable and no cash redemption or prize substitution allowed, except
at Sponsor’s sole discretion or as provided herein. All prize details,
including, but not limited to, specific color, size, and additional
options (if any) are determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion and subject
to availability. Sponsor reserves the right to
substitute a prize of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion. Failure
to collect or properly claim prize in accordance with these rules will result
in forfeiture of the prize. All properly claimed
prizes will be awarded. Any unclaimed prizes will not be awarded. Maximum retail value of all available prize
awards: $53,229.10. Maximum of one prize award per person per Daily Entry
Period Drawing; maximum of 25 Entries per person for the entire Sweepstakes
Period.
All prizes will be shipped to each Entrant who
is a confirmed winner at the address listed on their signed affidavit of
eligibility and liability/publicity release form. All prize awards will be
delivered by U.S. Postal Service or common carrier of Administrator’s choosing,
and prizes will be deemed delivered to the winner once the prize is delivered
by Administrator to the U.S. Postal Service or other common carrier of
Administrator’s choosing. Sponsor and Administrator will not be
responsible or liable for a late, delayed, lost, stolen, undeliverable or
damaged prize once delivered to the U.S. Postal Service or other common
carrier, for any loss or damages relating to delivery, use, or misuse of the
prize, or for any Entrant who incorrectly entered their actual address during
the registration process. Please allow 6 to 8 weeks for delivery of prizes.
Additional
Rules & Restrictions: By participating, Entrants agree to abide by and be bound
by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and Administrator,
which shall be final in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. In the event
an Entrant wins a Prize and is later found to be in violation of these Official
Rules, Entrant will be required to forfeit the Prize or to reimburse Sponsor
for the stated value of the Prize if such violation is discovered after Winner
has redeemed the Prize. Participation in Sweepstakes constitutes permission for
the Sponsor and its designees to use Entrants’ names, cities
and states of residence and/or likenesses for purposes of advertising and trade
in any and all media now or hereafter known worldwide on perpetuity without
limitation or further compensation, notification or permission, unless
prohibited by law. False, fraudulent or deceptive entries or acts shall render Entrants ineligible for any Prize.
By participating, Entrants agree to hold all
Released Parties harmless from any claims, losses, actions, or damages of any
kind, whether actual, incidental or consequential, for injury (including but
not limited to death), damages, losses or expenses arising out of or relating
to Entrant’s participation in this Sweepstakes, or the acceptance, possession
or use/misuse of the Prize, or participation in Prize-related activities
(including but not limited to travel or activity related thereto), and to
assume all liability thereof. Released Parties shall not be liable to Winner or
any other person for failure to supply the Prize or any part thereof by reason
of any event of force majeure, including without limitation, any acts of God
such as an epidemic, pandemic (including foreseeable and ongoing effects of
COVID-19) any actions, regulations, orders, or requests by any governmental
entity, equipment failure, terrorist acts, war, fire, unusually severe weather,
embargo, labor dispute or strike, labor or material shortage, transportation
interruption of any kind, or any other cause beyond Released Parties’ control.
Entrants are restricted to use of ordinary and
typical computer equipment, mobile phone equipment, Internet access and
cellular networks. Sponsor disclaims all liability for the inability of an
Entrant to complete or continue an entry due to equipment malfunction, busy
lines, inadvertent disconnections, acts beyond the Sponsor’s control, or
otherwise. Sponsor disclaims any liability for entries not received due to
technical difficulties or transmission errors. Sponsor disclaims all liability
for any delays, mis-delivery, loss, or failure in the delivery of any item sent
by mail, courier, express, electronic transmission, or other delivery method.
Released Parties are not responsible for garbled or delayed transmission of
online entries, traffic congestion on telephone lines, the Internet or at any
website or lost or unavailable network connections which may limit an online
Entrant's ability to participate in the Sweepstakes, and any injury or damage
to Entrant’s or any other person’s computer or mobile phone related to or
resulting from participating in or downloading any information necessary to
participate in the Sweepstakes. Released Parties are not responsible for errors
of any kind, whether computer, software, technical, mechanical, electronic,
telephone, typographical, printing, human or otherwise, relating to or in
connection with the Sweepstakes, including, without limitations, errors which
may occur in connection with the printing or advertising of this Sweepstakes,
administration or execution of the Sweepstakes, the processing of Entries or in
the announcement of the Prizes or Prize Winners. Sponsor, in its sole
discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the
entry process or the operation of the Website.
In the event of early termination of the
Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right to determine a designated number of
Prize Winners in one randomized drawing of all eligible, non-suspect Entries
received for each Daily Entry period as of the time/date of such Sweepstakes
termination.
Odds: The odds of being
selected as a Winner in a designated Daily Entry Period are dependent upon the
total number of eligible Entries received in the corresponding Daily Entry
Period.
Privacy: Sponsor is
committed to protecting privacy. To enter the Sweepstakes, Entrants must
complete an official Entry form with the entrant’s name, email address, mailing
address and phone number. The information submitted on the Entry will only be
used for selecting winners and giving away Prizes. Sponsor may retain any Entry
and winner selection information for recordkeeping purposes, but the
information will not be used for any other purposes, except as described in
these Official Rules. Sponsor does not sell any personal information collected
as part of this Sweepstakes. Depending on your jurisdiction, applicable law may
entitle you to certain consumer rights regarding the processing of your
personal information. For more information about exercising your rights and our
data collection and processing practices generally, please review our Privacy

In Case
of Disputes: By
participating, each Entrant agrees that (1) any and all disputes, claims, and
causes of action arising out of or in connection with this Sweepstakes, or any
Prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of
class action, and any judicial proceeding shall take place in a federal or
state court located in Collin County, Texas; (2) any and all claims, judgments,
and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs associated with
entering this Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys' fees; and (3) under no
circumstances will Entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and Entrant
hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, and consequential
damages, and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses,
and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All
issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and
enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of
entrant and Sponsor in connection with this Sweepstakes, shall be governed by,
and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without giving
effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions (whether of
the State of Texas or any other jurisdiction), that would cause the application
of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Texas.
